Yayas, helpers, househelp, they are the necessary evil. I know that while people and families can do their house chores, some can't do without a househelp. For some reasons that they have toddlers, babies or kids to leave at home while they're at work, or might have some person that needs extra care at home, and others that just want one to help them do the job. Well, who doesn't want one if one can afford, then why not? But, here's the thing, some people goes through a lot of effort to find one that's nearly perfect, while most of them are difficult to handle. Some may be because of the fact that they are the first-timers and don't know anything yet, so we become the teachers/trainers of what should be done around the house. Others may know some things already but, are not content of where they are, and tend to jump from one house to another. Only some knows the way in the house, but, demand a much higher pay. We get to a lot of twist and turns every now and then due to the sentiments that they offer may they be problems from their homes or some dreams they are wanting to fulfill. As for me, I would not really need one, but because my Mom needs extra care and companion at home while me and my husband is in the office and the kids are in school the entire day, then, we really need one. The worst part is that while we want them to be happy so, we take the time to let them go w/ their friends to mingle once in a while during their day off , but, they become so spoiled that they would have the guts to go home late. Well, all I can say is, "they have become the necessary evil."
